Ravello is one of the most precious pearls of the Amalfi Coast. Located on a ridge of rock where you can enjoy an all-round view of the Gulf of Salerno, Ravello offers its visitors important monuments, among the others: the Cathedral, built in 1806 for the will of the bishop Orso Papirio, featuring a single bell tower in Arab-Norman style; Villa Rufolo, also residence of Richard Wagner (and where he composed the Parsifal), a building hosting classic music concerts during summer; Villa Cimbrione famous for the marble statues decorating the terrace.
